Tips for maintenance and (first) use of the pH meter.
For the most accurate measurement, it is advisable to cool the liquid to be measured to 30°c. before measuring.
On first use, soak the probe in the storage liquid for +/- 4 hours first. You can do this simply by filling the cap that sits over the electrode with the storage liquid.
Before calibrating the electrode, clean it with the cleaning fluid. Then start the calibration according to the method mentioned in the instruction manual.
Preferably do not touch the electrode, especially not with your fingers. This may damage the electrode. Use only a soft cloth to clean the electrode.
Take good care of the probe of the pH meter. Clean the probe after use and store it in the special storage liquid.

CDR BeerLab® systemCDR BeerLab® consists of a thermostatically controlled analyzer with photometric technology using LED emitters and kits of reagents that are pre-filled into vials and ready to use.Reduced analysis times
With CDR BeerLab® you are finally free to carry out the analyses independently, in your brewery, quickly and easily, without having to rely on an external laboratory.
It is possible to analyze 16 samples simultaneously and constantly monitor the production process, obtaining specific answers in a few minutes.Easy to use
The system has been designed so that it can be used not only in the laboratory, but also on the production line for real-time results, by personnel without specific technical training. The analysis methods, shown on the display, are simpler than traditional methods and can be performed in just a few steps. If required, the HELP function will guide the operator step by step through the procedure. The result is automatically calculated, displayed and printed out.Reliable
CDR BeerLab® guarantees high sensitivity, a wide measuring range and excellent repeatability of the results thanks to the innovative photometric technology using LED light sources and fixed wavelengths ranging from the ultraviolet to the visible spectrum (with a range of 0 to 6 optical density). The analysis results are correlated with those of the reference methods.Pre-filled and disposable reagents are packaged in bags of 10 tests, developed and produced by the CDR research laboratories.
In just 15 minutes, up to 16 samples can be analysed with CDR BeerLab® and up to 3 samples with the Junior model.

MA9015 Lab Grade Electrode Storage Solution - Extend the Life of Your pH and ORP Instruments
MA9015 is a high-quality laboratory-grade electrode storage solution meticulously prepared with premium chemicals. It serves the essential purpose of enhancing the performance and prolonging the lifespan of your pH and ORP electrodes, testers, and pens.
For accurate and swift responses, it's imperative that the sensing element and reference junction of your pH and ORP instruments remain hydrated, preventing them from drying out. Storing your pH electrode in a solution like MA9015 ensures the glass membrane stays well-hydrated, maintaining optimal functionality and delivering precise readings.
Additionally, MA9015 plays a crucial role in keeping the junction of your pH and ORP electrode flowing smoothly, which is paramount for achieving rapid and accurate results. For effective cleaning of your pH or ORP electrode, consider using MA9016 Cleaning Solution in conjunction with MA9015 Storage Solution.
As a general guideline, the frequency of soaking your pH or ORP electrode in MA9016 Cleaning Solution, typically once per week for about 15 minutes, should align with the instrument's usage and application. After soaking, rinse the electrode with Distilled Water and ensure that the MA9015 Storage Solution is placed in the probe cap before storage. This ensures your pH or ORP sensor remains hydrated and ready for your next measurement.
The pH maintenance kit is set of storage and cleaning solutions designed to extend the life of your pH or ORP electrode. Keeping your sensor clean during calibration and measurement ensures accurate and repeatable readings. The pH sensor needs to be hydrated for the ion exchange process to occur. Putting storage solution in the probe cap before storage will keep your pH or ORP sensor hydrated and ready for the next use. If the probe sensor should become dry, storage solution can be used for reconditioning. Included in the kit is pH storage solution and pH cleaning solution. Both bottles are 230 mL.
The storage and cleaning solutions are lab grade produced with premium chemicals.

What is pH?
pH is measuring of the concentration of free hydrogen ions in a liquid. The pH of pure water is 7. Liquids that have a larger concentration of hydrogen ions than pure water are acidic and have a pH of less than 7.
Conversely, liquids with a lower concentration of hydrogen ions are basic and have a pH value larger than 7. The pH scale runs from 1 to 14.
