The GCA is designed to expand on the capabilities of the Grainfather Glycol Chiller, by allowing almost any fermenter on the market to be connected, and temperature controlled - including most plastic bucket fermenters!
The Glycol Chiller Adapter works in a similar way to the Conical Fermenter Pro but instead of the built-in cooling sleeve and heating element, it uses a stainless steel cooling coil and a heating pad to control the temperature of almost any fermenter.
The cooling coil is connected to the Glycol Chiller and immersed in the fermenter. The heating pad is attached to the side of the fermenter using hook and loop tape. A temperature probe is also attached to the fermenter and the GCA will then regulate the cooling, or heating, as required.
The GCA connects to the Grainfather App so you can control your fermentation temperature on the go.

To cool off with the Grainfather Conical Fermenter, you must have the Conical Fermenter Temperature Controller. As soon as your target temperature is lower than the temperature of the wort in your digester, the cooling pump set pumps ice-cold water through the double-walled, insulated interior to cool your wort.
Simply connect the couplings and insulated hoses to the Conical Fermenter, immerse the submersible pump in a cool box with water (add ice for the desired temperature) and pump the liquid through the insulated cooling of the Conical Fermenter housing.
Convenient supervision for the fermenting process
The professional version of the fermentation control is the Gärmeister CONTROL. It is the perfect one tank control if you own a Speidel stainless steel fermentation tank with a cooling jacket and a thermal detector. Besides the simple desired temperature control it is possible to use fermentation programs with up to five different phases, which allow you to specify the temperature and time for each medium. The settings can be altered via a touch screen display. The Gärmeister CONTROL has outlets for the cooling circuit control valve and an optional heating circuit. The scope of delivery includes a control valve, a two metres cable, a thermal detector and a 24 volt power connection with international connectors.

The temperature controller for individual tanks FermFix, with an integrated temperature sensor and a data interface that can be connected to a PC, represents one of the methods of electronic temperature control. The controller is screwed directly into the tank by means of an immersion socket. This allows the wine maker to set or re-set the temperature right at the tank. As a safety measure, it is possible to determine a temperature range above or beneath which an optic alarm will be given.
The controller’s double display shows the actual and preset temperature (value) in separate displays. Additionally, a LED light shows the actual mode of operation: cooling or heating.
