Product Description
SafLager™ E-30 is a selected bottom-fermenting dry yeast, specifically developed for the production of aromatic and fruity lagers. It produces high levels of esters with a banana character and is suitable for a wide range of fruit-forward beer styles.
The yeast exhibits medium sedimentation and forms a fine haze when stirred – with no clumping.

Sensory Profile
SafLager™ E-30 yeast provides a fruity aroma with pronounced banana notes and is ideal for beers with a fruity character and a clear ester profile.
Dosage & Usage
Dosage:
80 to 120 g/hL (0.11 – 0.16 oz/gal) at an optimal temperature of 12°C – 18°C.
Direct Pitching:
Sprinkle the yeast directly into the fermentation tank at a fermentation temperature of 12°C – 18°C.
With Prior Rehydration:
- Sprinkle yeast into 10 times its volume of water or wort at 21°C – 25°C
- Let it sit for 15–30 minutes
- Stir gently
- Add to the fermentation tank
