Special B MD's unique aroma and flavour is achieved through a unique double drying process. Special B MD imparts a heavy caramel taste and is often credited with the raisin-like flavour found in some Belgian Abbey beers. It can be used to substitute Chocolate or black malt when bitterness is not desired.
