Cara 50 MD Is a light caramel malt tht is produced in a roaster. Due to caramelisation and low temperatures during the drying process, the malt gets its very specific color and flavour.
Cara 50 MD is used by many Belgian breweries in their abbey style beers.
Cara 50 MD has a positive effect on foam stability from as litte as 5% of the grainbill.
