Wai-iti is a low alpha variety that works well on its own and with other hop varieties to produce both delicate and bigger styles. It’s a true aroma hop that displays hints of lime overlaid with aromas of freshly picked peach and apricot.
Flavor Profile
Fresh peaches and apricot dominate in late additions and dry-hopping. In early additions, there is a pleasant, lightly muted citrus character that allows the low co-humulone and high levels of farnesene to create a smooth, clean bitterness. The fresh peaches and apricot characters are at the forefront in late additions and dry-hopping.
