Crystal hops are known for their mild, floral and slightly spicy aroma, with a slight citrus note. This hop lends itself well to combinations with varieties such as Hallertau or Saaz to create a balanced, aromatic profile in pilsners and lagers, and is occasionally used in pale ales for a subtle hint of florality.
