Sensory Profile:
With SafBrew™ HA-18, you will experience a variety of aromas in the finished beer, thanks to the high ester release. This blend also produces phenols, which may give the beverage a clove or spicy flavor.
Dosage / Temperature:
- Dosage: 100 to 160 g/hl, ideally at 25°C – 35°C (77.0°F – 95.0°F).
Application:

Direct Pitching:
- Add directly to the fermenter at a fermentation temperature of 25°C – 35 °C (77.0°F – 95.0°F).

With prior rehydration:
- Rehydrate the yeast in 10 times its volume of water or wort at 25°C – 37 °C (77.0°F – 98.6°F).
- Let rest for 15 minutes.
- Stir gently.
- Pitch into the fermenter.
